bardiphouka[Error: unknown template video] Dire Straits is proof that it was not all flash and shadow in the time of MTV. There were groups who just never got the hang of MTV. There were groups that used MTV instead of musical talent. And there were groups that used the visual element as just one more piece of the puzzle as it were. Dire Straits was one of the latter. They brought back social commentary but iwithout a hammer they had a good beat and were easy to dance to..and the fact that Mark did not use a pick made him a hero for me certainly.
