glad you enjoyed. Lazarus lizards are actually Italian wall lizards who were brought over by one of the Lazarus (local millionaires) children and have since spread..and spread...and spread.
Oh, I know those buggers. Have seen them on a Easter holiday on the Italian Riveria. They are quite naughty and not at all afraid. Sit right next to you on the stone walls by the promenade.
A few weeks ago it was 15C outside, but we still had some snow from two days previous, and there was a lizard skittling about it in...I think they are not quite used to Cincinnati weather yet. I would catch a breeeding pair for you but I have no idea which is which..and I doubt customs would appreciate it.
Honeypie... the Douane here would be very very CROSS... they are so hot on reptiles and animals coming into the country as pressies! What a lovely thought tho... opening a box and having little lizards lepping about all over Lizzie!
Actually, I spose I could go fetch my own. I shall wait until the really nice weather and see if we have any here... it is an OLD OLD area, being the ancient convent, and we have a VERY old well, so... maybe they'll come out and sit on my wall?

Date: 2013-04-02 08:30 am (UTC)I shall miss my wall-lizards now I'm at the new place, as TOH hosted a million of varied sizes and colours in the holes of the ancient mortar.
I shall miss them. More than anything else of that old wreck.
