take a leaf
or a sheet of recycled paper
and write down
something you have lost
or someone

not something that you want
to lose, because that can
always change

but a loss

then take the leaf
or sheet
and hold it until you
are near a river
or lake
or ocean

set it to sail
until the water
absorbs it and the
world embraces
your loss
