Speaking of the giants on whose shoulders we have coffee...Galileo. Who simply could not be bothered doing many of the experiments that led to his theories. In fact some of them he could not have tried. The whole story of dropping things of the tower of Pisa does not count btw..having been added later, so for that one he is innocent.

Personally I've had a thing about Kepler since I read the Sleepwalkers by Arthur Koestler. Hey. perhaps one day Andrew Loyd-Webber will make his lifestory into a musical....
