bardiphoukais what? a blatant plea for money, something I do not do often. Why, you may ask?
I have been a fan of fantasy and science fiction since I was hmm..10 or so. Which, given my literary appetite means I have read a lot of authors and watched a lot of styles come and go. I slowly began to realise something over the years. There are authors whose sense of humour is almost as odd as mine. And that most of those authors, oddly enough, were British. Of course I imagine that one would have to have a quirky sense of humour to live in the UK anyway. And among the authors near the top of that list is Terry Pratchett.
As it happens, Terry has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of Alzheimer's Disease. Rather than moan and complain about it, as some people do with their issues, he has stated that he will just continue working as long as he can. And donated roughly 1 million dollars to the Alzheimer Foundation. For more information about Terry, the disease, and why and how to donate please read this.
If only I had a venue we could use I would suggest that music to help would be in order.
