Once upon in the 90s there was a cd which became a sort of a phenomenon. The CD was Jagged Little Pill and the artist was a rather quirky Canadian named Alanis. WIth lyrics that seemed to be influenced more often by Sylvia Plath than fellow rock artists and her long preraph hair she became the darling of the emos.
As fortunes go..she cut her hair, seemed to become happy and lost a good share of her audience. But for a brief time she really made an impression on the music industry, even to those who make fun of her these days.
