As Tom Paxton called it..the 60s were the days of the "Great Folk Scare". Folk singers got major labels. There were (usually grand) radio programmes and (usually horrible) national TV shows. No, A Mighty WInd is not real. But it does a great job of showing what the times were like, perhaps even more so than the real thing most of the time.
