Thanks to gothwalk for reminding me vis TH, but the Live 8 concerts are being webcast today..I followed the links from BBC. Will it accomplish much? Haven't the faintest idea. But at least it is nice to see people caring enough to try.

Hey, I've got a pass for two people (the pass-holder and a guest) to see an advanced showing of Fantastic Four on Tuesday (July 5th) at 1 PM at Newport on the Levee.

Would you be interested?
They were free for the taking at work and you were about the only person I could think of locally who might possibly be free around that time to take advantage of it.

Yes, I was just running errands and listening to it in the car on Radio 2. We have BBC 1 on the tube right now. It'll switch to BBC 2 later, and they'll be more coverage tomorrow (American coverage for those of us not wanting to stay up till 3 AM here) on BBC 3. I did see the crowds milling on the Parkway in Philadelphia, though. It was only 9 AM there!
