No I wouldn’t say that, just not that interested. Strangely enough. I remember that as a young girl I used to watch every musical aired on tv. (Very much to the annoyance of my parents and brothers.) But somehow my taste must have changed. Have no other explanation for it. For even the ones I loved then, have lost their appeal to me. *Shrugs* But I do love latin music much nowadays.
AAah Baardi!!!! Africa Jambo Sahib! Ngoli mbutesweli, qua heri? (incorrectly translated from the remembered voices...)
Oh gosh, it was the Tsavo all over again. Fantastic and the animals so perfect. Impala and zebra, the zhigraf and cheetah.. My swahili is all gone to pot now... but by golly, this was gorgeous and the music was HOME in Africa... Kenya, Tanganyika as she was, and Uganda.. aaaah Mt. Kenya and the lakes, waterholes by moonlight. Bloody hell Bardi, I hadn't forgotten but hadn't used lately. Bless you for ever. tis a fantastic Musical.
