Some days birthdays are history. On this day in 1940, John Winston Lennon was born in Liverpool England. He won no elections nor did he hold a military position. He held no patents in any of the sciences. And yet I doubt if there is a person born in 1940 who had as great an impact on the western world. Imagine that.

Today in history is a day ignored by several countries because of the calendar conversion. So what does one do with a day that some countries have and drop later and some never have. Did the animals care at feeding time? And children born..where did that put their birthday?
