Just to Remind People

Mar. 13th, 2012 08:01 pmIt is amazing how far along trailers have come in the last 40 years. Of course the budget for them is what the budget used to be for entire films.
That said, in the long run of things it was not that long ago then that a high budget movie was based on a non-action poem. Which is part of what I try to do. Show that poetry does have other uses than just expressing one's inner self. It can be about sex and violence and blood and where the paper landed on a stoop one morning in such a way that the world has changed because of it.
