Jan. 24th, 2011 02:47 am1984 – The first Apple Macintosh goes on sale.
The early Macs were often bought because they were almost, sort of kind of, portable. Well..luggable perhaps. And had some nice writing software..followed by graphics software which was a bit off for a small monochrome monitor.
On the other hand...they did come with a mouse, which led to this great scene
