How vague can vague its vagueries assume

I was reading a friend's post, and the well done pieces of advice that followed when I realised I could not give any advice. Those that know me know how terribly wrong this is. It was not that I do not like the person. She is one of a handful of people I have met since coming to the States that more or less make it worthwhile. Perhaps, shudder, I am growing up? Nahhh. Perhaps simply because the subject involves issues that tend to be a bit sensitive to me in a space such as live journal. At the party fine..esp if everyone gets so blathered they will forget the next day?
