Things left behind and
now thrown to the street.
Bits of flotsam of urban life,
fragments of dreams and nightmares.
There one branch of a
plastic christmas tree, there
a prize console tv from the 70s...
but broken now. Like much and many
it is without value.

An old man with layered coats
and a three-legged trolley, sorts
through the scattered collection,
looking for bits of dream to
replace the ones he has lost.
