If music be the food of love - play on!

And on a double stringed lute as well. What a range of tone that has and I was waiting for him to play the other strings. So many notes he hardly needed to use his left hand. Beautiful.

We are so LUCKY to have such music... are humans the only creatures to play it, make it, for just pleasuring ourselves?

Thank you Bardi, another Youtube to my enormous list of ones to play!

I loved the other instruments on the stage too... I Always wanted a harmonium to pedal on when I was old and grey...

I am not entirely sure if the bass strings get played or if they are sympathetic. My first thought was actually not the cost (which is in four figures and thus a joke.ha) but where in the world one would find strings for the thing. Wonderful tone though.

There is in Rouen, in an ancient side street beside the Horloge arch, a music shop that has shawms and cornes hanging on the walls, it has harpsichords and horns, and happiness in just walking in and smelling the music. They have lutes, the broken neck, the double-stringed, the sitars, oh and they have strings to tie around your knurls and your heart Bardi, you would never leave this shop of dreams. I can even find music written on MSS by hand if I wished to play on my clavichord. (which I also do not have but covet).

I think I may have a story for this week's prompt.. I love you! Oh Msr Hypolyte Thebaud.
